Story The Dr. Pepper Story-Oh Dear...***Ending the story***

You watch too much of magic movies eh? :D I wonder how cricketing action is going to start off from here.. lol ;) I remember similar style of story from our one of the senior members, Sohum long time ago. :)

Chapter 10
The future of the present

Munch. Munch. Munch. This pizza is delicious. Pizza Hut's meat feast over all. Oh right...we're on air. Yer...about that...I was too busy eating I forgot about the story. Oh well. Let's make this a flash forward episode. To see the future.

"Wake up Mani! Wake up!"

It was a familiar voice. I was too tired to figure out who it was. The point was it was a familiar voice in this god forsaken world. My eyes slowly started to open up. Like a zip slowly being un done. Argh! The light! It burned. That wasn't just a cheesy TV saying. The bright light blinded me for a few seconds.

I got up slowly and covered my eyes. I opened them up, shielding them from the blinding light. I was squinting even though I had my eyes covered from it. Whatever it was, it was incredibly bright. After a few seconds my eyes adjusted to the light and slowly moved my hand from it.

The light was just the surroundings. I had been away from them for so long. I halted for a moment and took a deep breath, I had to be prepared for what was ahead.

I looked up around me. It was a wasteland. What the hell happened?! It was a shocking sight. It was as if a beautiful world had been in a car accident and had been completely deformed. I looked everywhere, I couldn't find a single thing that wasn't ruined.

I looked towards him. It was James. James! The last time I saw him was before it happened. Before the human enforced apocalypse. I looked at James in shock. His facial response didn't cheer me up.

The wasteland around us.

"James...what happened?"

James looked at me in the eyes for a moment but suddenly dropped his head to the ground. It must have been terrible. He looked around us. The toxic wasteland.

"They did it. They actually did it."

James looked at me in dismay. He looked as if he was going crazy. Crazy from these horrid events that have destroyed us all. We may not be dead physically but it felt as if we were. We spend our lives doing something for someone, we never have time to do the things that we've always truly wanted to do. When the end approaches us, we try to fulfil our goals, our aims, our destinies. We try and do everything at once but it's too late.

I am wondering where and when and how this storyline is going to introduce some cricket in action ;)

Chapter 11
Just even more confusing lawl

OK I'm just going to confuse you even more with this chapter. Why? Because I'm a prick. Yeah so that last chapter was five years into the future just so you know. This update will also be five years into the future but instead, it will be a different possible future that could also happen. This will be in North Melbourne in Australia. Without any further ado...

"Oi Mani! Hurry up. You're going in next and by the looks of things that'll be in about a few minutes."

"OK, OK, I'm going as fast as I can. It's not my fault Dave threw my pads in the lake so I have to wear these tiny ones."

"You should've stopped him."

I looked at Adam. He knew that I couldn't stop Dave. Who could? He's a freak isn't he. I didn't need to speak, he knew exactly what I was saying. Like some sort of telepathy thing...but with looks.

"HOWZATTTT!"

The umpire raised the finger. Siddle ran around like a weirdo after capturing Dave plum. The ball hit his pad going straight at middle wicket. There was no way he could argue...but he still did. The stewards had to take him down using tranquiliser darts after he threatened to smack the umpire with his bat. Knowing Dave, he would've done it.

"Crap. Mani hurry up, you're in now."

"Already! Who got out? Please say James."

"No Dave."

Son of a! I had to be batting with James didn't I. The most defensive batsman of all time. Even if he could get three runs easily, he still wouldn't run. Goddamit. If he wasn't going to run, I was going to smack him with my bat.

I headed out to the centre of the field acting like a gangster. I was wearing my solid twen'y fo' carro' gol' shizzle. Propa nex' level innit. I put on some awesome sunglasses and looked like a right guy. I put up my collars up and starting strutting to the crease. I had my head up high and I had an arrogant look on my face.

I got to the crease and looked straight at James. Not looked actually, stared, no BEAMED at him. He fell to the ground. He was in shock. I put him through so much torture didn't I? James wasn't getting up. Jeez what a geek. Even still, as an international cricketer, he was a geek.

The ambulance came in and stretchered James off. The game was abandoned and everyone had to pass around a "Get well soon" card. I crossed out what it said in the card and put "You're a geek lawl". He deserved it though. Cerealously.

Oh finally some bit of cricket their Mani. Nice to see it come...Lol James had to be stretched off Nice update Mani and good luck with your batting..:clap..

Chapter 12
Choices

Choices. In life we have many. At the end of the day, there aren't right or wrong choices. Just good or bad. Each action you take, each choice you make has a consequence. Some are good, some are bad. It all depends on your actions, your choices.

"Woah! What the f***!?"

The moment James stopped talking I exclaimed that at the top of my voice. Everyone looked at me but were as shocked as I was. The only difference was, they didn't shout a blasphemy so loud that everyone in Australia could hear it.

"Yes, all of it is true as well. Well whatever you choose will happen. So it all depends on your choice etcetera etcetera."

"What choices do we have to make?"

"An excellent question son. You will have to make an extremely difficult choice in the very near future. What the choice is? We don't know. Only you will know when the time comes. Now this choice isn't chosing whether to have toast or cereal. This choice has the future of the Earth on the line. If you choose the right one, the latter future will come true. If you choose the wrong one..."

I glared at Shubhrayu. I was intrigrued yet scared at the same time. Well you would be to if you were in my position. With the Earth's future hanging on your shoulders. It's a hell of a lot of weight. More than that fat Shantanu Rooney! Yeah and he's really fat. Hehe, you thought that your beloved comedy had gone but it's still here. Hehehe.

"Wait! What about the vortex?"

It was as if a lightbulb appeared above James' head. Well Dave did get a lit candle and put it above his head. The hot wax fell on his head lol. He started crying like a little baby but was still having an orgasm from his suggestion.

"Of course! Yes that's perfect. That must be it. It must be something to do with the vortex."

"But what?"

Choices. In life we have many. At the end of the day, there aren't right or wrong choices. Just good or bad. Each action you take, each choice you make has a consequence. Some are good, some are bad. It all depends on your actions, your choices. Wait! Why did you just repeat that? You just copied and pasted it. So? What's your point? My point is why did you do that? To make it look longer of course. Duh! Anyway, that concludes another episode of The Dr. Pepper Story, goodnight and don't let Jack's llama mother bite.

Chapter 13
What is "It"?

Both Shubhrayu and James looked at me, thinking as hard as they could what the it had to do with anything. What the vortex had to do with the future. What we had to do to stop the former future from occurring. Dave on the other hand was trying to throw Tom out the window. There was seriously something wrong with them two.

James turned his head away from me for a moment, and then stared happily at me again. He looked as if he was going to implode with excitement (I'm not on about the other thing). He started s******ing at me. He turned his head to Shubhrayu. It took a few seconds and Shuby obviously got what he was on about. They were both laughing for a reason unknown.

"Let's go guys."

"Where to you t***?"

James started skipping out of the room and down the stairs. Shubhrayu followed him, running steadily. James was in his own world now. He opened the car without the keys somehow and got into the passengers seat. Shubhrayu got in the drivers seat.

Dave ripped the door off and dragged James out of the passengers seat like a rag doll and moved him to the boot. Dave sat down calmly in the front seat. Tom and I got into the back. James was crying in the boot so we threw Tom's shoe at him.

After about an hour and a half of really crap driving, we arrived. It was a huge building, a skyscraper. It had glass doors and windows and stuff for everything. It was in the shape of a triangle. Really weird shape. In front of it was a stone, like a grave stone. On it it said "Alpha Tech" in light green writing. Underneath it said "Reaching the goal".

"Where the f*** are we?"

"You'll see. This is where you get the answers to all your questions. All our questions. This is where we learn everything. We get all the answers and no questions asked. These people will tell us everything. And tell us about it."

"What's it?"

We all slowly got out of the car. Shubhrayu started moving forward towards the double doors. He stopped and turned around towards me. I looked up to see how big the building was. I saw someone. Wearing black. He had something in his hand, he was aiming it at Shub.

"It is-."

BANG! Arghhhh! Blood splattered everywhere. Painting a picture on the ground. His brains scattered across the floor. His head seperated from the rest of his body. He was dead.

Mate KUTGW and don't forget to call me :p in Shubhrayu's Funeral!! I feel sad for him :crying :p

Haha I won't :p. Thanks for the votes guys in SOTM, they're really appreciated. I'm going to carry this story on for a long time as I lots of plans for it. I haven't even reached the cricket yet :p. Yeah thanks for the comments as well guys. It's a shame I'm not getting many comments when I've continued one story for a long time as opposed to continually starting new ones but I'll survive :p. And it's about the writing anyway and having fun.
