Season 3
Chapter 1
The Beginning...again.​

Beep, beep. Urghhh! Stupid alarm clock. I turned towards it and it was 7am. 7am on a bloody Saturday. Dave changed the freaking alarm clock for a joke. Hilarious . Some people are just...strange. Dave is one of them. If you ever met him you'd run away screaming in a maximum of 5 minutes. Yeah, he's that bad. Unfortunately I have to put up with him and Tom. Tom is just as bad, if not worse. He takes the other bus to main street if you know what I mean. Sometimes it gets seriously strange here and that's the cue for me to leave.

We all have one common interest, Cricket. We are all serious Cricket-a-holics. If that's a word, it's not! Well it is now. What do you mean I can't change the English language. I can do whatever the hell I want. You shut up! I don't care if you quit. I can narrate the story myself. Anyway as I was saying we all love Cricket.

All three of us play for the Yorkshire First XI. I'm a bowler, leg spinner, and don't ask me to bat. I'm useless with the bat. Dave is the wickey. He holds the record for the number of stumpings in a season. As for Tom...he's just Tom. You ask him to bat and he bowls, you ask him to bowl and he bats.

There's another kid as well who's part of our "posse". His name is James. James Edmonds to be precise. He's a bowler. Fast-medium-ish. In other words, he's not good enough to be a fast bowler. Ginger James is a real geek. A total nerd. Someone you want to beat the crap out of for no reason whatsoever.

I haven't told you my name yet, have I? The name's Mani. As I've already said, our common interest is Cricket. That and Dr. Pepper. If you look in our fridge you'll either find thirty Dr. Pepper cans or Tom squished up in there. Don't ask why...

Anyway I slowly crawled out of bed and went to the bathroom. After brushing, showering etc I got out of my room and went downstairs. As usual, I was the most good looking one out of the lot. When I went downstairs Tom and Dave were watching T.V. They were watching Teletubbies...

"Err...never mind..."

I wasn't even going to bother. So I went into the kitchen and opened up the fridge. I grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper and picked up a Salt and Vinegar packet of Walkers while I was there. Mmmm, tasty.

Dring! Dring! It was the doorbell. Who the hell could it be at this time? I picked up my Cricket bat and walked up to the door (it was just a precaution). I opened it slowly and ARHGHGH! I swung my Cricket bat and it made him fall to the ground. Jesus christ! It was James...

"What the f*** are you doing here at this time?"

"We have Cricket practice in ten minutes!"

"Oh s***!"
