Story The ICC World Test Cricket Medal: ***Day Four Highlights***

The king is back with his amazing stoy and amazing graphics.:p
I guess India will make 373.

The New Zealanders really did post a huge total there with McCullum being very unlucky indeed to be stranded on 99 not out. India did start off badly by losing their prime batsman Gambhir for a second ball duck. However, the New Zealanders would have been happy with Sehwag's aggression due to the fact that the Kiwis reckon he will mistime one ever so soon. The Kiwis would have been happy with Gambhir's wicket though.

Regarding your Predict and Win Contest, I would say India are to make 305 runs.

India will score 301..

Great presentation mate, brilliantly writing and gfxs.. Nice to see this back..

Nice update JC. Nice to see this story back.

As far as prediction contest is concern I guess India will score 285 in their second innings.

Lovely writing and presentation. India to get 258.

Kiwis are really good with the bat. lol at McCullum, he doesn't get to his century. It may probably go towards India as they have the legend (Doesn't want to say).

But it's hard to say because 2 days left maybe 289 all out (India). I've a question, how do you make animated image? And really good writing.

At Last Update: India were 46/1 at Stumps on Day 3

Dravid looked rock solid once more in the first over of the day, clipping a couple of runs and then punching two more between the bowler and mid on to bring up the fifty. Southee took up the attack from the RA Vance stand end and immediately removed the dangerous Sehwag for 24 off just 20 balls. It had been a destructive cameo while it had lasted, but at 63/2 and still trailing, New Zealand would have felt like they were in the box seat.

Of course the most difficult task was yet to come - somehow splitting up the mightiest partnership in test cricket. The absolute immovability of Dravid coupled with the sheer brilliance of Tendulkar had proved too much for many opposition teams in the past, and if ever there was a time to perform for their nation, now was the time. Tendulkar looked simply amazing from the start, opening his account with a beautiful on drive for 4 off Southee.

Bond threw everything he had at the Indians in possibly the most fascinating passages of play in the test. Pushing up above the 150kph mark for the first time in the match, the speedster worked hard to occassionally draw a false shot from Dravid - twice he flashed outside off stump - but the great Indian pair held firm and managed to see out his spell without much damage, although it had been a fiery six overs.

Meanwhile Tendulkar was simply in his own class, dealing to Southee, and then later Wagner and Ryder, with some simply sensational batting. He looked as safe as ever, barely breaking a sweat and never hitting a ball in anger - but still maintained a run rate of over 7. It was simply nothing like anything else in the world.

Tendulkar was almost better than the game as he controlled the first hour of the morning session

Vettori brought himself on in an attempt to ebb the flow but was challenged by Dravid straight away. The master of playing spin bowling swept, he came down the wicket, he defended off the front foot, he cut, and negotiated Vettori as well as anyone ever had. Things were looking desperate for the New Zealanders as the 150 came up from just 22 overs, with the lead extended to over 50 a few overs later. Dravid reached his fifty with a typically solid push down the ground, and soon later Tendulkar also brought up a great half-ton.

It had been a masterclass from Dravid thus far but he would need to continue to give India hope

Next came a twist of fate which might be a pivotal moment in the match - having reached 52 from just 31 deliveries, Sachin Tendulkar struck the ball into the leg side and called for a quick single. He sprinted down the pitch but Guptill came swooping in on it from mid on, and with a great throw, threw down the stumps. At 161/3, the New Zealanders had snuck through the immortal partnership and hope was restored for the time being.

Guptill's run out of Tendulkar was a huge moment for both teams

Seemingly reeling after his long time partner's dismissal, Dravid succumbed to Vettori's cunning spinners. Coming over the wicket, Vettori lured Dravid into sweeping once more, but this time the ball dipped on him and hit him on the pad. It also spun more than previous balls, and dartfish seemed to confirm that the ball would have definitely hit the stumps. He had to go for 74 as India plunged deeper into trouble.

After losing Tendulkar, the further loss of Dravid was the last thing India needed

Now 4 wickets down, and only around 60 runs ahead, the onus was on Laxman and Yuvraj, both relatively new to the crease, to get their side into a winning position. Vettori decided to throw his heavy artillery at the Indians in a hope to win the crucial moment of the game. He and Bond worked in partnership for several overs, really troubling Yuvraj outside off, although Laxman looked fairly comfortable. Then finally there was justice for Bond, who had toiled hard all morning, when he totally beat Yuvraj who had a wild swish outside off and provided Ross Taylor with a sharp catch above his head at first slip. Now 5 down for 170, NZ really was calling the shots.

Dhoni at least looked more determined than his predecessor at the crease, single mindedly seeing off the rest of the session with Laxman to live to fight another session - it would be troubled lunch break for him, though...

India: 185/5

India are in deep trouble and need VVS Laxman to play a Very Very Special innings to get India out of this hole. I feel that the Kiwis have done fantastically to unsettle a batsman of Laxman's calibre. I feel that he will have lost a bit of confidence and the Kiwis MUST take advantage of this and bowl a tight line outside Laxman's off-stump.

To Dhoni, they must similarly not give anything away, lengthwise as Dhoni is a player who will pounce on the slightest bit of width available to him.

Please can you explain how do you make animate images?
