Please can you explain how do you make animate images?

I just take a screenshot of each frame (usually 10-15 frames), save them as GIF files and use a program called unfreez to animate them.

So do you use something like fraps so you can press the screenshot button 15 times in a row a regular intervals?

I use a program called Anycapture. In Cricket 2004 you can replay any ball to frame by frame speed. I just take a screenshot, then press the key to go to the next frame, take a screenshot of that, and so on...
