England require 25 runs of 30 balls with 4 wickets in hand !

Harsha Bhogle :
This game has entered the decisive phase . England need 25 runs of 30 balls to win this one with 4 wickets in hand . Collingwood has played a superb knock under pressure and giving him company is the gritty Giles . Collingwood has scored 33 of 46 balls and Giles is on 6 .
Remember, this is a 49 over a side match .
England are 234/6 after 44 overs . Pathan and Balaji have an over each left and then India have to turn up to a nonregular bowler which automatically makes England th favorites to win this one . I for once would not be making any predictions now . AS we have seen, the fortuns have swung both ways in this keenly contested match. India need the wicket of Collingwood immediately ! All in all , stay tuned for a nail-biting finish !

England ned 14 runs from 18 balls with 3 wickets remaining !

Harsha Bhogle :
As we move towards the climax of this game, no prediction can be made about a winner . The only thing that is sure is that a few finger-nails will be chewed ! Just when India looked down and out, Giles has been run out but Collingwood still stays . Here is a ball by ball look at the eventful 46th over bowled by Yuvraj Singh .

NOTE : This is a 49 overs a side match .

Over No.46 --- Bowler : Yuvraj Singh

Ball No 1 : A dot ball to Collingwood .
2 : Collingwood plays the ball to short fineleg and runs immediately only to find his partner Giles run out !
Balls 3,4,5 bowled to Gough were dot balls .
Ball No.6 : Gough slogs one from Yuvraj for a 4 to put England back on top .

The boundary almost completely ruined a great over by Gough and brought the req RR less than run a ball .

Wow this match has been a thriller!

Great comeback by England.

But here,he is changing the whole complexion of the game.

ok then get collingwood of the strike and i tkink Nehra is the best option to bowl the last over

Imo they should use a spinner now, because both Collingwood and Gough aren't particulary strong at Spin.

England Require 9 of the last over !

Harsha Bhogle :
Hearts are pumping at the fast pace, finger nails being lost and many thoughts in the minds of the players . Its all happening here at the Oval . England need 9 runs of the last over to win this match . India have managed to hang on thanks to superb 3 overs by Yuvraj Singh and Sourav Ganguly . They have just conceded 5 runs of the last 2 overs . England still have Collingwood at the crease and with him is Gough who has already hit a huge four ! Cn they pull of a victory for the Englishmen ! Wait and watch the last over only on Planetcricket !!

Update : Collingwood 37
Gough 6
England 250/7 after 48 overs chasing 259

Balaji to bowl the last Over !

R.Dravid has decided that L.Balaji will bowl the last over of the innings ! He would hope that he would erase all memories of the ODI at Sydney where B.Lee hit L.Balaji for a six of the penultimate ball to win Australia the game .
