Muralitharan is not part of this discussion because he's a wrist spinner, not a finger spinner. He's one of the only (if not the only) wrist spinning off-spinners in cricket.

Generally speaking, leg-spinners and chinaman bowlers are wrist spinners and off spinners and left arm orthodox bowlers are finger spinners. There have been a rare number of cross overs, of which Murali is one.

Harbhajan's action is very different from Murali's. Besides, it's not the action but the technique used to impart spin. Harbhajan uses his fingers to twist the ball, Murali uses his hyper-flexible wrists (and elbows).

Yes he one of the greatest finger spinners ever, but so what, it means nothing. Why does anyone care if he is or isnt? The fact is he has the stats to be up there. Personally, he's a world class knob.

Has to be up there, 300 odd wickets at an average of 30 on covered wickets is a pretty good effort. Doubt there's many fingerspinners with a significantly better record who played in the covered wicket era.

No we don't, especaiily since he isn't one of the greatest. Please don't even compare him to the likes of Warne, Qadir or Murali's.

Oh and this is a thread about 'Bhajji', not Sehwag, so that's what might have confused you.
