i dont know what the staff is thinking but they definitely have to take a strict decision with regards to C07 forums. its high time and very much required for the site's well being.

Its been tried before though. Tom took a hardline approach and it despite his efforts it didn't really change anything bar him nearing losing his sanity over it.

This is another problem and I call it the 'deepthroat' syndrome. This happens to Dutchad as well. Mark has had probably more incidents with sub-continental members than Tom had, yet his is still considered God. People just clutch on to him, when he goes 'oh no, Mark, please don't go' and he comes back it's all 'yeah, the saviour has returned'. 'You saved our lives, we are eternally grateful.'

Problem with large amount of posts about Sachin is due to the fact that he's playing the game for almost 2 decades now. Thus whenever he plays a match, one record or another is broken and thus the discussion starts. Or even the matches he aint playing, he's bound to come in discussion due to something happened in that match or something commentators or players said.

on a more serious note, i didn't find any useless threads. the climb to 1st spot after 8years was a deserving one tbh. yea, we do over-react to any of his achievement.
