Things you wish you didn't see live?

India v South Africa 15/1/2011 in which India won by single run.

What' so  in that. It's India
Oh please, we Indians ourselves say bad about our nation and then expect others not to do so. The place where I live in Mumbai has no power cuts, never. There might just be one or two in a year, but even that is very rare.

I guess he interpreted the title wrongly. "Things you wish, but you didn't see"

I think you need to lighten up.

Just like all those part of India that are constantly in darkness due to the power cuts.

Yes, I do agree that the situation in areas like Kalyan, Thane, Vashi and Nerul is bad, but there are absolutely no power cuts in areas like Bandra, Worli, Dadar and Churchgate. People living in these areas would have no idea of what a power cut is.

On the other hand, most of the people who live in areas which have frequent power cuts have inverters installed. Now-a-days the builders themselves provide those and so the problem is solved to quite an extent.

If a problem is solved at some places but not everywhere then it doesn't mean that the problem is solved. I know that you mean we're on a road to development now, and Dipak's way of saying "It's India" signified a little ignorance, but that doesn't mean he calls it a bad nation. (though he is an english fan :p)

No, this thread is solely for the purpose of discussing the electrical problems of India so unless you have a power related story I'd leave.
