So, going by your logic, why isn't India on the Test list ahead of SA and Eng? They both lost the last series they played against India, last time I checked.

Anyway my point is, we are a far better team with Dhoni at the helm.

surely Sri Lanka must be in most people's ODI selections, they were world cup finalists and played superb cricket throughout, before being beaten by the far superior aussies (and the toss ). Their recent loss to England in the odi series is the only blemish on a brilliant odi campaign in the last couple of years really, they are stronger contenders than India and Pakistan imo

when was the last time Pakistan won a ODi sereis, you have to go back to 06 whne they beat Sri lanka i think. while Sri lanka creamed england 5-0, got to the final of the world cup, drew with NZ i think and lost to england 3-2.

South Africa knew they needed at least 129 runs and would have managed it had they put there head in run chase. They became over confident and thaught they will demolish India in that match and look what happened

India lost against NZ, they put up a fight chasing 190odd, and they got 70 runs in 6 overs or something, whereas India (RP Singh rather) demolished the SA batting line up...

India was chasing 190 and did not loose by much. They actually made an effort to win rather than being demolished by opposition.
After this match India had to win every match they played and they did that unlike SA who could have even got through if they made 129.

SA are a pretty good team but they are one of those sides where you just know their quality is irrelevant in certain situations.
