I'm also tipping Mithcell Johnson to average at least 40 with the bat for this series seeing as how we are the worst team in the world when it comes to bowling at tailenders.

Essex boys doing the business Cook made 124 and Ravi made 43. Guessing Warwickshire managed to cling onto the inevitable chance he offers when he gets into the 40's. He really needs to stop doing that. Cooky's in marvelous form though, made a hundred in the T20 stuff a week or so ago, and now a hundred in a warm up. We'll need him and Strauss to produce the goods.

Australia will get to 400 here. We're English, we can't bowl out tail-enders.

Just seen a few highlights of Cook's innings, and it looks like he may have been telling the truth about watching alot of Matty Hayden. He certainly looked more aggressive, and had a decent strike rate. Seems time back at Essex playing T20 cricket has really helped him. Hopefully he'll continue his form in the series.
