Tournment Ends

I think the run - out opportunity was the only he missed.
He stumped Sangakkara at the end by slight fumble and the catch which he dropped wasn actually a catch.
Dhoni would have raised his hands up in the air for the short fine leg or the fine leg fielder to collect it.

Thats the difference in the keeping of Dinesh Karhik and MS Dhoni.

Dhoni sacrifices acrobatism for reliability. He is not as acrobatic as Dinesh Karthik is, but behind the stumps he is far more reliable than KKD (whatever I have seen of KKD in international matches, he is just not upto it at all in keeping). The run out miss looked pathetic in the end where he came so close and yet threw it above the stumps. In a pressure situation, the guy flinches and makes a lot of mistakes (even while fielding, he used to make many mistakes).

I Agree. The advantage with KKD in the team is that- He takes blinders (not very often though)

but the biggest problem is,
he drops sitters!

Dinesh Karthik's Stunning Catch

:hpraise

Thats the type of fielding he is known for ;) you need to take both sitters and blinders :)

He doesnt drop sitters.
Its just that one or two mistakes of him are criticised a lot.

Yuvi is ruled out from this series...he is a very strong middle order batsman, who can change game at any moment...

LOL @ the double standards. Badrinath, Pujara etc hit big double hundreds and key innings' day in and day out, Nohit gets a big innings for once on a flat track and is back into international recognition?

Stupid.
