Compare this to the opening day of the NZ PAK test match. These flat decks are what is hurting Test cricket, not 2020.

It's not a flat deck. This is a pristine sub continent track. It'll be fantastic for batting on day 1, 2 before spin comes into the equation on Day 3. It's staying low and the batsman have just been batting extremely well.
