Welcome to my team:

Curtis Blakeman - 18 yo, BT Rating=9,333
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, moderate
A defensive player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: respectable Concentration: feeble
Bowling: worthless Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: respectable

Bought for ?200,000. At the age of 18, he is certainly trainable and has a bright future. Good fielder as well. At the moment, I can only offer him my No.7 spot. Shows you how good my team is ;).

i think thats a great buy considering for the same price i got:

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: respectable Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: woeful

better player? yes, but at 21 ill just train his stamina then he is at that, in 2-3 seasons time (hopefully) he will be in my of 25/6, (10 bowlers, 7 batsmen 3 w/ks 3 allrounders 2/3 trainees) he wont be playing much then though

as your buy is 18 he is easily trainable to be key to your team

Thanks. Apart from his batting, I want to train this guy up to strong fielding. He's only going to receive one batting net and one fielding net at the moment though, as I have other promising teenagers as well. For eg, my allrounder Hoult is 19, and he's already really good. I've got another 17 yr old respectable batsman to train up as well. I don't know what to do really, as I have the option to create one or two superstars and the others remain good; or a very good allround squad.

im trying to get an allround squad of respectable + primaries (2 bowlers short, 1 spare batsmen i think)

with 3/4 around proficent then 2/3 will be my stars (i.e superb+)

In my squad, nobody has got a below respectable primary. I've got 3 strongs and 5 proficients. I am unsure whether to get the other respectables (who are very young) to proficient + or whether I should train my strong players to superb +.

if you have the spare nets nets id train peopl in this order

whoever you suspect is closest to pooing (if thye are under 25)

the younger players

i think training people over 25 is pointless unless you have a strong suspicion thye will pop with in 3/4 weeks

Neither are terrible, but I'm not parting from my money for them! My new YP is up for sale, as is Lee, one of my starting batsmen.
