Well from what I've read it doesn't sound like he's dead for example it was on CNN news that he magically just turned up at a shopping mall with Dr.Dre and was shopping around like nothing happened...

To sum up, Tupac is a legend, because of his work. Only true HipHop fans can know that, (I know this def metel guy who admires only 1 rapper, pac).. 2pac is dead, he did not kill himself. He got shot, as we know he was involved in all sorts of stuff.
