Tutsi's A.I. Patches

I had a rather thrilling finish to my match !India were bowled out for 166. They still dont score fast enough and it wasnt till the 45th over that they started trying to loft over the infield forcing me to put more fielders outside the circle. They had 6 wickets in hand and both batsman at full confidence but still ended up playing the same shots to the fielder. I still feel that the cpu's shots need to be tweaked , as well as their pacing- maybe increase the power of the front foot cover drive so it goes over the infield or for a 6..

Coming to batting- this time I decided to continue with the 7.5 beta with the new technique and it was really tough.. Got of to a good start though and was actually at 4.5 runs perover .Once Kumble and KArtik came in though I struggled .. it was very very hard against the spinners and kumbles figures were 10-4-13-2 and karthik 10-3-14-3 .I started panicking as the reqd run rate went up and had a few runs outs as well. from 65/2 I collapsed to 105/9 with my run rate around 2.8. Then the cpu made its biggest error in judgement .. they spread out the field and had two partimers yuvraj and ganguly bowling the last 10 overs... gillespie and mcgrath scored tons of singles and I was 156/9 of 48 overs with victory in my sights till ganguly had me lbw with that yorker(the one thats tough to face with the new technique) and aus lost by 8 runs !It was interesting that the spinners were so hard to face for me as well as the CPU(the cpu struggled against clarke and symonds)
Batting is great as I had mentioned earlier , but the cpu batting still needs work
 
one day cricket is all about scoring singles- most of the time I can score upto 6-7 runs per over scoring just singles and the occasional boundary. However in the context of the above match since I had only one wicket left and had to score around 4.5 runs per over running quick singles was a safer alternative to trying to go over the top with a tail ender...
Of course scoring 4s and 6s is fun , but for me the real thrill is the realism , a lot of people post scores of 1200+ which to me is not realistic and not fun(after the first few 6s). A tight low scoring match is more fun than a run fest against a weak team..
 
Lol i guess i play differently to other people then. Im lucky to post scores of over 250 with b batting tech. But then i rarely use the advance or six hit buttons.
 
ya guys i have tweked the strokes so that cpu uses them better and is in a better position to play them. i have also tweaked the pacing and i'm quite happy so far. i am able to see the diff. before these tweaks and now.

i'll be testing it further to make sure.
 
HEy tutsi plzz help me plzz I am using Tutsi's 7.4 patch and founf battin wuite good but CPU bowls 2 wides per over or more which gives me more runs and CPU is not so aggressive against the spinners too plzz help me TUTSI
 
interesting match- aus vs zim , normal pitch , cloudy conditions- i am playing as aus, mcgrath destroyed the zimbabwe top order and took 5 wickets in the opening spell, lots of edges to the keeper. Zimbabwe however scored arouind 4.5 /over since my field was very attacking and a lot edges /mi****s went for 4. They were 100/9 .. and then the last wicket out on 120 runs!!!I just couldnt get the last two batsmen out, there were lots of edges and near chances but they rode their luck. Since I was trying my best to get them out , the field was inside the circle with 2-3 slips, however they would get runs between slip and gully or backward point - I kept changing the field but to no avail , they would somehow get edges and the stupid slips would be too slow to react.In any case the last wicket fell of the last ball.. so it was a tremendous partnership

plz help me!

i downloaded ur patch 7.4b and used config 2 to import it! I think thats all im supposed to do isnt it?

but still im not getting much changes in game! i mean there is no edges wat so ever!!

even if i try to get a edge i can never get one or never hit one! why is that? have i installed the patch wrongly?

heres step by step of how i did it:

loaded the config 2 program.
browsed for gob file.
clicked on import button.
chose ur file.
it asked if i want to import and i said yes.
then wen i click on the list box it has all these different things in, like ODI EASY, TEST EASY, 10 OVERS etc..
and if i choose one of those it brings up a text file in the window of stuff relating to the thing i picked!
So thats all i did!

is there anything else i need to do? do i have to pick each thing from the list box pull down menu, select it, and than press the save button!!
thnx plz let me know as im pulling my hear out right now trying to make it work!! :mad
 
no no.....u don't have to press "save" for everything.

just click on import patch.....then select my file and click on YES to install my patch.

THATS IT.

hmm....well try on different diff. and start a new match and see if u get edges.

**One tip, play with Sachin's season sav file, i'm sure it will fix everything.
 
Tutsi's 7.5 A.I Patch - BETA 3

YO YO YO YO YO.....

This the 3rd and the final edition in the BETA series of my 7.5 patch.

Well won't say much about the patch except the fact that i hope everything is fixed in this.

This is for the NEW BATTING TECH. , For TEST NORMAL & ODI NORMAL and for 20, 50 Overs matches.

Hmm just check it out and tell me if everything is OK.

Since this is the BETA version, some new features will be included in the final version of the patch which will be for all difficulty modes and all overs length.

Odi, very hard to get the cpu out they punish every bad ball and even make good balls look bad, they make big totals and bowl well, consistantly changing there speed and variation of ball.

Also they seem to change field cleverly, for instance i had two 'big' shots out onto the offside, the cpu changed the field so there was some one on the boundry, the bowler bowled that ball in the same place and i went for another big shot-big mistake.(should probably looked at the radar)
