Yes Chappell is good.
You should try and listen to Sunil Gavaskar and Ian Chappell together.They give you fantastic details of the game.

As far as Kirti Azad is concerned.Well ESS simulcasts the matches on ESPN and Star Cricket.
ESPN-English commentary and comprises of ppl who are actually in SA
Star Cricket-Hindi commentary and ppl are based in the Singapore studio !

But Sunil Gavaskar seems so out of place trying to discuss T20... he should stick to Test matches and maybe ODIs. T20 does not seem to be his cup of tea and I don't think he really enjoys it all that much (my own guess) even though he hasn't said anything against it yet (that might be probably against the studio rules).

Are anybody else annoyed with the lack of replays for wickets? THey never showed Ashraful's LBW decision in replay even once in today's match against Pakistan.

It seems that that is because of the time limit.
The new batsman needs to be at his crease within 90 seconds.
So obviously they cannot show more replays.
But,with ESS you would normally expect a better quality.

But still, they had plenty of time between the ads. Also they stopped showing ads after a while. Match got too boring, I guess.

I wish ESPN would tighten up their telecast. Ads are eating up into the live action too.

My favorite by far is Bumble...he lends something extra to every over he commentates...I also like Hussein...and Simmonds, I don't know what it is, it might just be the sound of her voice, but she irritates me...I like the commentators that tell you things you didn't know and let you WATCH the cricket, rather than just saying "it'll be just a single here" every time the ball dribbles to an infielder...

Every 2 overs? THey're showing 2 ads every over here. ESS is really milking the T20 cash cow to the limit

They did not show the Mid-Wicket show which normally appears between two innings !

They were only showing ads !

ESS has lowered themselves to the level of Doordarshan by doing this. For a channel that asks its viewers to pay to watch it, this is ridiculous. I think somebody needs to file a Consumer Court case against ESPN for violating the norms and showing ads at the time they did.

A channel which asks viewers to pay for watching it shouldn't show advertising at all. Absolutely disgraceful. :

I was cracking my pants laughing at how biased the Indian commentators were when Yuvraj was batting last night.
