Under 19 World Cup

^ Quality posting once again from Bilal.

Englands U-19s are looking good, even after the Bangladesh tour, and lets face it, they're pretty good. We did well against sri lanka last year, when they toured here, was a good series, watched a few of those ODIs.

Scotland's captain for this tournament, Kasiam Farid, has revealed his excellent knowledge of the differences in conditions between Scotland and Sri Lanka.

He said:

Scotland is cold and Sri Lanka is hot.
No sh*t Sherlock.

looking forward to seeing how Henriques goes

ive heard that he's a quality allrounder

Hes shown what he can do at the under 19 levels. But lets see it again :D
Next step will be to show his skills for NSW.

yeh it would be great if he got a go with the Blues...he played in the 20/20 tournament i believe....

he has to be better than James Hopes! lol

Yep and hes played one ING cup match. He took wickets in the 20/20 but ING he only got one over. Even at 18 he would be better than Hopes!

But its so much better for Henriques playing in the under 19 WC as at least he will be batting and bowling in the right position unlike when playing for NSW.

Good News for Indian viewers!!!

I checked the official website and it said that Sony Max is the official broadcast partner of this U19 World Cup. :happy :happy :happy

And btw, is the Indian squad announced?

Pah, been here for 13 months and is a mod, but yet still can't put in a link properly ;)

It's shocking that Gibraltar were not able to play in this tournament apparently, despite finishing top of their group and beating Scotland.

Scotland V Pakistan , Final, oh what a draw , both two strong teams :D

Division One is the qualifying tournament.

And the only time Scotland and Gibraltar under 19s have played each other was in 2003, when Scotland won by nearly 200 runs.
