v3.07 How are you doing and your thoughts.

Well I was tempted into getting the trial for this and wow is all I can say. 4 hours have just gone by and it seems like no time at all. I decided to give England a go and beat the Windies in both the ODI and Test series with Kabir Ali turning out to be a real find for me.

I then went on to win the 20/20. Was pretty exciting stuff when I just scraped through the group stages when the Windies did me a favour and beat South Africa getting me through on NRR. I then returned it by thrashing them in the finals with Napier hitting 42* off 10 balls!!! Denly and Wright opening, were a fantastic pair and Trott also seemed to really take to the 20/20 format

Now the Ashes are here and this is my line-up for the 1st Test: Strauss, Cook, Trott, KP, Colly, Prior, Broad, Plunkett, Swann, Anderson, Ali.

Flintoff is out injured, with a broken leg, which is a massive blow, but hopefully this XI should be good enough. BTW, Broad got bowled on 99 vs the Windies. Still waiting for his maiden 100

Obviously his blonde hair isn't the only thing he shares with Warne!

Just won the Ashes 3-2. Incredibly satisfying Broad, Swann and Anderson were awesome, and Plunkett and Ali were pretty handy as well. Trott, KP and Strauss were in the runs nearly every match, whilst Colly did a Cardiff all over again IN CARDIFF, to just get us over the line with Plunkett. Dropped Prior cause he was being pish and replaced him with GoJo who got out twice on 99!!! :doh Think I have built myself quite a good side here. Only downer was that Rashid has now broken his leg. Was hoping to play him in the ODI series.

Definetly going to buy the game when the trial ends though I assume I will be able to continue my saved game?

Well, I get paid tonight so once that goes in, it's going straight to buying this game. I've been playing the trial the last couple of days and I am loving it. Can't wait til I get it.

Plus a lot more changes. Go to the CC website to see all the updates. I just downloaded the trial. Managed to gain test status with Afghanistan. First test against New Zealand. It ends up in a tie. What my luck. Needed 253 to win in the second innings, made 252.

Took over Papau New Guinea and have found it enjoyable despite disappointing so far. I lost my opening two games with Argentina and Tanzania after posting competitive scores in the 200's only to see them get chased down. In my 3rd game I decided to chase against the Cayman Islands. They made 232/8, slightly disappointing seeing as they were 63/4 at one stage and then 176/6 at another. But still a very chasable score. Our top order made a hash of it and we were doomed at 89/4. Thankfully our low middle order cashed in with scores of 46 and 49 from Vaughan and our keeper-captain Cooper. We needed 11 off the last over to win and this is how it went:

49.1: M Shreck to M Stubbings - Out caught - 11 needed
49.2: M Shreck to P Mason - Two runs - 9 needed
49.3: M Shreck to P Mason - Four runs - 5 needed
49.4: M Shreck to P Mason - Dot ball - 5 needed
49.5: M Shreck to P Mason - Dot ball - 5 needed
49.6: M Shreck to P Mason - Four runs - Match Tied

A great last over from our number 10 which salvaged something from the game. Still in deep trouble in WPL Div3 though. Need to win both our last games against Italy (6th) and Hong Kong (3rd) to stay in Div3.

After wasting my trial of the 3.02 version or something, is it possible to now have another shot at 3.07? I just want to thoroughly analyse it before/if I buy it, and would like a run with the test nations and promoting them.

Well I've bought it! I picked Malaysia as my team (since I lived there for a few years). Right now I just beat Gibraltar by 3 runs (close) and currently 2nd in Division 6. Hope to improve slowly.

Lower price did make my decision to get this game. But IMO, it's worth every cent.

I'm hoping to release a demo shortly which won't be time restricted. Giving yourself and others another chance to try the game out. This will come after the release of update v3.08.
