There is an outside chance that Sehwag will be selected for Australia.
Jaffer has batted ok in the first test aginst Pak,and given that Sehwag did not fare too well against domestic teams.

Nah, I don' understand people saying Jaffer should go, if anyone goes, it should be Karthik. I'm hoping he proves himself in the rest of the Pakistan series, always hoping.

Jaffer's style of play is one that should inspire confidence. Like Dravid--Dravid inspires confidence. We need one opener who looks like he's just going to dig in and stay there (like an Aakash Chopra). Jaffer's style suits that but he does not really do that.
