We Should File an Official Complaint (Response from 505 Games post 99)

Anyways, if anyone Google's the game they should have a clear understanding after reading a couple of posts

What is sabotage here? Shit's hitting the ceiling on AC 2013, bro... The stink is all over the net! I am feeling sorry for those who did buy this game, they would have felt absolutely betrayed... I do understand there should be a lengthy discourse on the vanities of this game, but ultimately we should take a stand against the people who had the guts to bring this out! Not immediately now, maybe in the near future!

I haven't played the game, and by looking at reviews and gameplay vids, I wouldn't care to either...I do get the point that consumers would benefit from the discussions on Planet Cricket...The action I suggested may be the way forward in the future...As a member of this forum, I think I am in my rights to voice my opinion too!

No. It really isn't. If someone did research before buying the game, they would know what to expect.

It's a tough one... They have released a game that is basically unplayable due to bugs. Its not complete and bears no relation to the game they talked about. It is sub-amateur.

But at the same time, there were enough red flags to not buy it, especially for forum members. Nobody could have imagined it being this bad, but they still should have known enough not to buy it.

I say complain to ECB/CA, and Steam, the game might have the plug pulled. But don't expect your money back or sympathy here.

100% everyone should email the ECB and CA. Surely if a hundred or so members from here do so it'll have some level of impact.

I think PC should remove the AC13 stuff from the front page, it makes PC look bad.

I have sympathy with people who ordered this game. We have no decent cricket games and curiosity probably got the better of them. Yes they could have waited and seen the awful reviews, but I didn't think we were in for such a big stinker of a game

We're a cricket games site - this is a cricket game, it's not going to be hidden away. People knowing about it and making an informed decision is the best we can do, not pretend it doesn't exist and then have people buy it because they hadn't seen how bad it was.

What i do think you should do is post on the front page an open letter to the representatives of trickstar/505 past and present querying how their representation of the game over many months was so at odds with what has been delivered. Ask the various questions that need answering (such as what did Chief simulate to get the Eng/NZ 1st test result as it could not possibly have been that game, how could Fegan pretend the game was in any way near finished or playable in June etc. etc.) and also email this to them, offering them right of reply on the site. Close comments to avoid abuse.

Then if they do not respond, ban their accounts so they cannot try this same deception with future games.

If they have the cheek to release this on console under IC2014 or something, they really are taking the p*ss and should be banned from PC, so glad I avoided this pile of trash!!

I got response from poor 505Games. Let me tell you guys they are totally innocent (they dont even know about the bugs asking us to let them know what is wrong), I may transfer them another dollar 20 to buy there game an try it to see some glitches.

Anyways that was only what I was looking for to let them know that I dont feel happy with there game and it is of no quality at all.

Now you are talking exactly what I wanted when I started the thread. this and only this to show the concern and voice our opinion and dislike for the game.

Given that 505 have not promoted the game on their FB page since April, I'm not surprised by that clueless response.

Of course you can be sure that Michael D will simply press forward to every email he gets straight into the blackhole that is Trickstar games.

Ofcourse its a standard response. I wrote them back with video link and wrote that my reason of complaint is not to denand my money back but that they should be shamed of backing and publishing this game.

I don't agree with this complete innocence of 505. Sure, they didn't make this crap, but they still published it. If they honestly didn't know how poor it was then it was extreme negligence. I don't think that was the case though, so they most likely did know how bad it was a still chose to take pre-orders and ultimately sell it.
