who do u guys think has a better bowling atack out of say
Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall, Michael Holding, CUrtley Ambrose, Courtney Walsh vs McGrath, Dennis Lille, Jeff Thompson, Brett Lee, Jason GIllespie

pretty much wat im saying is Aus best pace bowlers ever vs windies best pace bowlers ever

Well WI pacemen probably are the best ever given it was them that took WI through their amazing era. Then you had Ambrose and Walsh carry on from the great 4. Aus have had great pairs but next anything like the Windies in the 80s.

Joel Garner, Malcolm Marshall, Michael Holding, Curtley Ambrose and Courtney Walsh would be easier to bowl out.

talking about present its australian bowling line up is better but in past it was w. indian, but i am always in favour of auusies, cuz they got some of the best players of international cricket.

West Indies. Australia have had some great pairs and good supporting bowlers, but from what I've read, the thing about the West Indies is that they were relentless, one after the other, no significant spin attack, always at the throat of the opposition. Even with the four, each almost quicker than the next, they had others waiting out of the side who could come in and be almost as effective. But they kept them too long without thinking about the future players and it all ended in a sudden shock, although they still had Walsh and Ambrose to carry the attack, but that's when the greatness ended, because their was the reliance on 2 bowlers again. By the way, I think Marhsall was a decent bat.

Marshall was pretty good, but not as good as Lee or Gillespie.

If you go back and actually pick better bowlers than Lee or Gillespie, such as Keith Miller, Ray Lindwall or Alan Davidson, well they were also capable batsmen.

I would say Holding, Marshall, Roberts and Garner would win any good bowling attack hands down, they would destroy the oppenents batting line up, I would'ent want anyone of them bowling me at the rib-cage around about 90 mph.

The WIs had a better attack but if they played a game AUS bowlers would problay win due to their batting talent

Well the thing is the Windies bowlers back then didn't need to bat when you look at some of the batters they had. And usually they wouldn't be chasing much cause the pacemen would destory batting orders. The same would occur now I suspect.

The West Indies attack was a lot better. I would hardly rate Jeff Thompson, Brett Lee and Jason GIllespie in our best fast bowlers ever though.

Garner, Holding, Marshall, Ambrose, Walsh and Roberts are the best ever fast bowlers to play cricket for Windies. for Australia it would be McGrath, Lillee, Thomson, McDermott, Gillespie and Keith Miller.

Although I didn't have seen much of the West Indies, I know a bit of their tremendous record. So I would say they would be the better bowling attack.
