West Indies in Australia

Ponting is a good captain if he goes with his instincts. I still don't know why Lee can't carry his ODI form into the test arena. Ponting has got Lee to the top 3 ODI bowlers in the world.

I swear Cricket is half a Mental sport, maybe its a Mental thing with Lee?

I honestly thought dropping Lee and making him more desperate to come back would make him more dangerous. How wrong was I.

Lets just hope the great pair stay on for a while longer. By then maybe we would have found suitable replacements.

Latest on match status, Warne gets another.

Because batsmen don't have to attack him in Test cricket, they can just wait for the extraordinary amount of bad balls he bowls and keep out the wicket balls, as opposed to one dayers where they go after both types and get out. His plan to bowl line and length lasted all of about 3 balls

That is one reason. Also doesn't help when Lee keeps losing his swing after less than 2 overs.

What a wicket. Devon Smith leaves a ball darting back in to him. Smith is still thinking what the heck happened. Great knock by him anyway. And of course the Great man takes the wicket.

a shame thought we might be in for a bit of competition after the ashes but yet again there will be 3 day tests and no cricket for the weekend
