You bet he is. Infact apart from Anderson and Key, everyone is.
Just looking at Ashley Giles' career statistics, they look pretty good.

Matches: 38
Batting: INN- 53, HS- 52, AVE- 19.4
Bowling: W- 112, AVE- 36.5, BBI- 5/57, ECON- 2.7

Brian Lara scored his 10,000th run in Test cricket, but walked off dejected after getting out for just seven shortly after

yea its a wonderful achievement by the great man, but it may jus not be enuff to save a 4-0 thrashing. this team is literally pathetic, with a whole day lost to rain, and still they have managed to get themselves into a losing position:rolleyes:

Don't despair just yet rocklara. Being an England fan for many years and remembering the bad old days of not so long ago I always err on the side of caution, and this Test can still go either way. I heard on the radio this morning that the highest total successfully chased down at Old Trafford in a 4th innings is a meagre 145 (by SA 50 years ago), so...
The weather may still play a part too:( .
