Although i'm glad Steve Smith is getting a game. I am also tentatively a bit nervous as how the selectors rate his bowling.
It was an absoulte farce that he actually on standby for Hauritz for the MCG/SCG (cant remember which on) test. His bowling is nothing more than part-time ATS, but i get the sneaky feeling may fast track him prematurely.

You could say this is our best pace bowling lineup this summer with the underperforming Johnson out. Also could say this is our ideal opening partnership as Haddin also likes to go bang.

Also who ever is in control of team selection needs to be fired. Simmons gets yet another chance after failing and failing and failing for the most part in the past year or so.
