It doesn't matter if he takes the wicket, he should at least tweaking try it after boasting himself so much prior to this Test.

He probably has bowled it, he just considers an arm-ball going with the angle of going around the wicket as a doosra.

Don't talk crap Dean. Show me a post where i have ridiculous post about every cricketer ??.

Anyway, i have no interest to agrue with you.

Ponting should have used Hauritz for 1-2 overs at the end of days play. Bollinger bowled superb and same goes for Watson. Roach and Tonge really not looking tensed or kind of nervous. Just hope, we can clear it early tomorrow.
You seem to hate all our good cricketers and love all the overrated fringe guys who are useless. Lee and Symonds, case in point.

When I went to sleep I was expecting a century from Nash or Deonarine and that would have taken the team a long way towards victory. The collapse from the 1st inning is what is costing the team now, it would be a much different story had the tail added another 30/40 runs in the 2st innings.
Hope these two can hang on tomorrow but obviously chances are small.

I hope Ajmal gives Hauritz a real lesson on how to bowl the doosra, serves him right.

Dont see Ajmal playing a test, 3 quicks and Danish is how they'll line up. Maybe at the SCG Ajmal may get a game, but in the NZ test he played there were little signs of his danger ball, and he was dropped next next.

yep a very very very small Chance.
me praying for a ICC championship trophy 2004 against England (Bradshaw and Browne) repeat :D , which is impossible at this stage.

ONLY 50 runs needed! now it must kill the Windies, if Sarwan hadnt played that shot before lunch, or if Nash or the other dude had gotten their 100. or Bravo/ Ramdin made some 20 runs each?

only if...

can Roach be Aameer 2, and score it for WI

2-0 is not going to be a fair representation of how the Windies did this series. They have some wonderful talent in their youth and oddly enough its been some of the senior players Chanders, Sarwan, Ramdin that have let them down this tour.

Watson only getting 15% match fee fine was a joke, was easily worse than the Benn stuff which was mostly just competitive banter and incidental contact. Classless taunting that has no place in the game and should have lead to a suspension but I expect no less from this side. Nowadays I automatically assume Australia are at fault every time there are incidents like these, since you never see these type of things unless Australia are involved.

The difference between these sides isn't that great in the end it seems. Australia's problem is that they don't have a spinner who can take wickets, and they can't keep their fast bowlers healthy. Not all that different from any other side going around I guess.

Watson is an idiot. He tried the same thing with Gambhir and Gambhir not only gave him what he deserved by "accidentally" nudging him but spanking him all over the park. Good batsman, but he's a very average bowler after those injuries. He's only setting himself up for failure by celebrating like that.

Wow, channel 9 arent even showing the last day on tv here in Melbourne, they are showing a 1 hour thing at 4pm here, what about the rest of you aussies in different states? WHAT CRAP FROM 9.

Edited for accuracy. Hauritz's problem isn't taking wickets he is the 4th highest wicket taker with Benn at 11 wickets with a better average at 33. And he took 10 wickets in the Ashes, 2 more than Flintoff who played 2 more games.

aussie1st added 3 Minutes and 43 Seconds later...

His bowling has been just fine since the injuries, hes still bowling at 140km/h when he wants to and hes now swinging and reverse swinging the ball. Pre injury he was gun barrel straight.
