According to JL they're trying to get the WACA pitch back to how it used to be.

From what Gilly was saying they could struggle to do that until the AFL moves away from playing at the WACA. He said the last time it was the WACA bouncy pitch of old was before the AFL played there. Ever since they have struggled to get the pitch right.

The 3rd umpire had no evidance to over turn the decision. It was most likely not out but none of us will never know.

The AFL stopped playing at the WACA at the turn of the century. The Perth clubs play have played exclusively at Subiaco since 2000.
