If Gayle doesn't lead the squad I think Bravo would make a good captain.

Gayle will lead the squad, once the offer is made and he said he do not have a problem in doing so! As for Bravo, I would not put that kind of pressure on him, not yet. Your XI not bad, for me there would be no doubt about Simmons, maybe even play him at 4, but there is the Nash issue and you cannot deny him his spot, he have done well in his short time on West Indies team, and he should and must be retained!!!

Sammy, if we are not going to play a spinner (and we should!!) I would look for someone with a little more juice than Sammy, we do have a few and we need 20 wickets, not containment!!!

who will the windies play as spinner? it would be silly not to play one seeing as bravo will provide an extra pace option.

notice you've picked miller, Dare, but surely Benn isn't out of the picture?

he probably isnt out of the picture but in my opinion he should be. Miller and a few other guys have much better domestic records and have performed much better over the past few years in domestic cricket.
I would really like it if Miller got the chance to bowl in tests, if not him then go for Dave Mohammed.

West indies Cricket should do something to improve the Standard of cricket in wi

Lol to both you, :clap

well I dont know his knowledge of WI cricket but since the 90s that has been one of the biggest issue in WI cricket, along with a whole bunch of other things. And just when things look like they are getting better a strike like the last one happens and derails the entire process.

I know one things and that is that the West Indies will never run out of talent, fast bowlers are born naturally and good batsman are also easily found.

Lets hope so mate, American sports are calling and many West Indian children are more interested in basketball than cricket nowadays .

It would be the biggest shame if the Windies lost its passion for cricket. The whole Stanford debacle did not help much either. The Windies is the best place to watch live cricket and long may it continue to be so.

Yea the money in the US can certainly take away a good number of youngsters but I think the history and the popularity of the game will keep allot of them focused on cricket. At least i hope it does.

Yea the atmosphere is always good especially when Aussies and England come and play.
