Ponting gone, good catch by Bravo. Did I see wrong or was that delivery from Roach clocked at 160?

We batting slowly, loosing wickets, everything going wrong :facepalm

The Oval can be flat, but lots of results there this decade.

Yes the famous Lord's slope does make it slightly difficult for some players, but has no bearing on the result of the match. You've not seen a Lord's match on tv? the slope is very evident even on tv.

I think the difference can be a fast wicket may be easy to score on, and with big scores on the board and plenty of time bowl you can exert pressure. when the wickets slow you have to take your time scoring. providing you do, it's easy.

I don't think any of the indian wickets have been that quick but sehwags made such a mockery of the idea a wicket needs to be quick to score fast off that india have been able to exert that pressure. so in short, even if you were to say the indian wickets have been roads you still have to take your hats of sehwag, because he's forced the results and been outstanding.

Roach on fire, good ball to Clarke now up for referral.

aussie1st added 0 Minutes and 38 Seconds later...

Gould is correct, hawkeye confirms with the green missing.

if there was a speck of dirt on the ball that would have removed the bails :D hell, the breeze of it passing would have tipped them.

good umpiring though, can't fault it when it says it's missing and i'm in favour of the ones brushing the stump being not out anyway.

husseys going to get run out if he keeps this up.

Not so much struggling as he just does not value his wicket.

He values his wicket, its just the way he plays. He is aggressive and everyone knows that. I would rather he scores a few runs playing his natural game then trying to plays slow and scoring the same amount of time.

Roach is looking very dangerous and quite impressive. This guy really bowls well.

Roach bowls on a very wide angle, so it shouldn't be surprising at all. That is exactly why they say to get in close to the stumps.

I know but the impact zone on video replay was different to that on the hawk-eye.

Roach is bowling really well here, has Clarke and Hussey at no-wheres.
