I agree, Hussey is just so clueless in the crease atm.

The key to this post is "atm". He's a quality player short of confidence. He needs to go back to fc for a while, miss a few tests, and try to find it through regular gametime against more forgiving opponents in a less stressful environment.

This could give a chance for one of our specialist openers to have a go (not nessesarily Hughes, i think he may be overrated) and i'm sure he'd be able to come back in the future, thats the quality that hussey is.

^ I`ll be pretty gutted when that happens. Was great in his first few seasons in Test cricket.

Poor from the selectors. Hilditch and co really need the balls to take some risks and pick up some youngster for this game. Can't see Hauritz doing much in this game, so throw in Steven Smith or Jon Holland.

Not sure about Hughes, because he's out of form and the bounciest wicket in the world isn't the best place to improve his short ball weakness

That sounds wise considering he just went for 110 runs of 16 overs.

The reason Hauritz isn't getting many wickets is because the batsmen are not attacking him.

It's all because of our ████ fast bowlers, all giving a full-toss-on-leg-stump or short-and-wide delivery every over. They are not as accurate as they used to be.

It's annoying watching the opposition bowlers keep the pressure on and roll us cheaply and then when you think we should do likewise, instead our bowlers release the pressure. It happened in the Ashes at times, and I also remember the T20 WC against Pakistan where their bowlers showed great control in the death overs while our bowlers again went the journey.

Siddle is the main problem, Johnson will always be wayward but Siddle is more than capable of bowling tightly.

"I tried it in Adelaide, but no one would have seen it so that's how well it's going. We'll have to wait and see if I can land it a bit better here." - Hauritz

Someone here said he bowled the doosra at Adelaide, good spot.

Yeah, I swear I saw it when Bravo edged him and Haddin gloved the ball so Clarke couldn't have caught it at first slip. I'm sure that turned the other way...

Get Shane Warne in the commentary box, he probably would have seen it and brought it up. We got absolutely nothing from the commentators.

I'm interested, what have you done with the schedule? Playing 1 more test against WI, then a Test and ODI series against Pak and then after that the WI OD series? What are the Windies during that break?
