Yeah, but why would they call up Geeves? They have the one backup, maybe they were planning on bringing McKay in for Hauritz if Siddle was fit?

The title is misleading, McKay will replace Siddle (I hope). Geeves is just there to make up the numbers (12) if Siddle pulls out.

Yeah I'm fair hoping as well, no use playing Siddle if he can only bowl 10 half arsed overs per innings. I wouldn't mind seeing a four-prong pace attack, though that hasn't worked in the recent past. (Ashes 09, Perth vs. India)

The 4 prong pace attack is the only reason I can see for Geeves unless someone else is injured. McKay surely will come in for Siddle if hes out.

Crap. Your right, forgot about that - don't know how :p

Bring in an extra batsman and get Hussey to bowl again I say!

^^This.

He should focus on getting wickets first. He only took 4 wickets in this series with the average of 58.75, which is nowhere good enough.

No point in bowling fast if you bowl at 155 kph but you have a big fat 0 in the wickets column. Also I hope Chanderpaul plays. Its a treat to watch him bat and the Windies just seem that much more fragile without him.

It makes it even worse when the guy dissing your spin ability doesn't spin the ball at all and just bowls darts.
It kinda doesn't make sense because Hauritz has done his job so far. Gayle's batsmen have been the ones giving Hauritz wickets and his bowlers haven't really been able to match him.
