He should focus on getting wickets first. He only took 4 wickets in this series with the average of 58.75, which is nowhere good enough.
Have you actually watched him bowl, or are you just looking at stats and making assumptions?

He seems to bowl 150 KPH and more without much effort watching from the TV. I honestly think he can really pump it up more than 155 KPH.
"At the moment when [Nathan] Hauritz is bowling to me, it's like I'm bowling to myself".

He's got a point there.
Is it just me or am I not the only one that didn't find this quote funny?

The last one of my players to retire was Vaughny. And he wasn't too much of a champion by the end.
Roach is over rated.

It kinda doesn't make sense because Hauritz has done his job so far. Gayle's batsmen have been the ones giving Hauritz wickets and his bowlers haven't really been able to match him.
He's got the legs but those he have the attitude?
Roach is definetly no Ishant Sharma or Dale Steyn or Shoaib Akhtar in terms of troubling the batsmen when they toured Aus.
"He'll be a handful in Perth," Ponting said. "As you can see, every spell he's bowled, almost every ball he's bowled, is hovering around 150kph. We knew that he was capable of that. He's hit his areas really well. He hasn't sprayed the ball around too much. He's bowling well for them at the moment."
"we have seen on this ground with some of the fast bowlers it's been their downfall with trying to bowl too quick and too short. The next thing you look up on the board and they have gone for six or seven an over. It can sometimes be a pretty ruthless place to bowl for a fast bowler."
