West Indies tour of Pakistan

Congratulations Yousuf what an amazing year, totally deserved to break Viv's record for most runs in a calendar year. Looks like he will bring up his 9th ton for the season basically meaning Ponting will struggle to beat that unless he bats twice in one test match and makes 2 100s.
Not exactly out of the question right now though, is it? :p

Excellent stuff by Yousuf,he's been a run machine this year, especially on the last couple of tour, definately would be my pick for the best test player this year along with Ponting.

Brilliant stuff from MoYo; He's been great to watch against England this summer and even though some of his innings have been a bit dodgy and lucky, it's testemant to his class that he's scored so many runs and played so many big innings.

I'd rather not see Ponting bat twice :)
It's good to see Hafeez re-establish himself in the Pakistan team, hes played a good supporting role to Yousuf. I'm guessing Pakistan will want another 100 odd before declearing.

Yeah I was just discussing this at another forum. This pitch is wierd. The bounce is actually getting better as the game goes on. So I'm thinking Pakistan should post a defensive total. I'm curious as to how the new ball will react to this change in the pitch, and I think Pakistan should declare taking all this into account.

I can't believe he made another Hundred.

The next Bradman?
Unbelievable really.

One intesting thing is from 210 odd overs, West Indies have given away 2 no-balls and 1 wide. That's pretty bloody good.

A bit too late for Yousuf to get a 99.9 average :) You've gotta be quite consistent with those 100s, a few not outs help although right now Yousuf is doing what the Don did in converting his 100s to 200s.

Only the third Pakistani to do so IIRC. The man is an absolute run machine.

Sixth actually(Md hanif,Wasti,Inzamam,Yasir Hameed,Miandad).Excellent though from Md Younis.

Way the Pakistan batsmen have been going it looks like it especially when there is a man called Chris Gayle opening the batting for the opposition.

They didn't need to give Windies a chance, so I don't think they've declared too late at all. They will have 8 wickets to take with a whole days play left.
