West Indies tour of Pakistan

The ODI tomorrow will be washed out. Heavy downpours in Rawalpindi. Wouldn't be suprised if this isn't the only match that is washed out.

Bit of a blow for the Windies but it has been the openers that have got the Windies off to their flyers and Morton is good enough at 3 or even Lara.

i was pleased by the way that Hafeez and Farhat played in the test series but i wana see how good they do in these ODIs, in the icc champs trophy they didnt do much and same in england. hopefully the form carries into the ODIs and for the Windies it couldnt get vorse with Sarwan and Bravo out.

hafeez should go into 20/20 mode

we havent got afridi to up the run rate so we need to keep runrate above 5 until 40th over to standa chance

early blows from pakistan Simmons gone 2nd ball and than rana gets Gayle with a great delivery.

yea weak batting display for both teams other than Morton and Inzi noone really did anything speccial, they really missed Yousuf.

well...inzi saves pakistan really...not a good batting performance from either side as batsmen struggled to cope with the pitch...but Pakistan and inzi hold their nerves to get to the finishing line...Just...

P.S the debutant spinner Abul-Rehman was sensational taking an amazing 2-20 in 10 overs...good find there...

Looks like Kaneria's chance of making the ODI side have further diminished. Not really a good batting performance by either sides. Must be something with these sub-continent pitches as India's Champions trophy was low scoring and now here.

Just heard Younis lost another family member. His other brother apparently died which means he will most likely miss the rest of the ODI series. The poor guy has now lost his father and two brothers in the last two years, yet he still managed to score 1100+ runs this year.

I thought Inzi batted alright after his very slow start.
The slow start was absolutely needed the way the wickets were falling all around him. I don't think Inzi could have played his inning any better.

yup...an easy win in the end...Farhat and Haffez tried to take the 'Gayle' approach and go for everything...lol...it worked to quite extent...but a good day for Pakistan and i thought they did quite well chasing 192 in 35 overs at a runrate of 5.5 per over and still got there with 10 balls to go + 7 wickets...

Windies are really missing Chanderpaul, the Chanderpaul and Gayle combo worked so well over the past few months getting the Windies off to a flyer. Rana has been good for Pakistan so far.
