so you have Aussie parents, you live in Australia yet you speak Urdu. Sounds strange?

My dad speaks Marathi.
My Mom speaks Kannada.
They both know each others languages.
We all know English.
We watch Hindi Movies.
In India we live in Tamil Nadu.

I mostly speak Marathi, Kannada, and English (no particular order) but know Hindi and Tamil. Learning Spanish in school :)

Can speak French, English, German. Can read and understand anscient Greek and Latin. I know some Spanish and Italian. I hope I learn Chinese, Arabic and the Hieroglyphs some day.

But normally, I just speak Dutch.:p
