What's the story behind dbc14/17 ashes fast bowling animation?

Do you have the game? Surely comment when play the game might help and why put a big sensational headlines up ,
This could just go in ashes general Discussion mate :noway

Actually I just watched a video on youtube, Starcs action doesn't look all that different from Hazelwoods, just a left handed version.

Due to the really poor communication on part of people requesting things (hint: see broadcast camera issue), let's clear something up.

Are you referring to the bowling action, or the full run-up?

Also, what videos have you seen and at what stage of the process? (pre-patch, beta, etc.).

Did you see on your phone or a larger monitor? This makes a big difference in what you can actually see.

more important Have you actually played the game? When you have the game you can explore things and see things that are not evident in youtube videos. Plus how much of the action will you really be focused on when you are trying to watch the ball instead?

Bowling action itself, the run ups are pretty bad too but I am more concerned with the actions. I watched the official IGN video and also a user posted one. I do notice there is a difference in actions but you have to sort of focus to see it. In real life the differences are extremely obvious.

Take a look at this game from 99:
It's bowling action is way smoother and realistic than any action in Ashes cricket.

No I have not played the game. And yes you are trying to watch the ball but as far as the overall feel and presentation goes, the bowling action plays a huge role.

Honestly, if you're not happy with batting/fielding/bowling animations then buy a different cricket game.
What a great attitude. I'm sure you've never complained about something. A mo cap facility was heavily promoted and basically the only variation in bowling actions is the angle of the arm.

Alright mate, so your point is? Of course they're not going to or can't even make those changes through a patch. You say you want them to get better for the next iteration even before the release of the current one. How does that help?

Yeah...but wait, there isn't another cricket game to choose from, @motime6. The reason you see people defend BigAnt when they see comments like yours is not just cause they are the only ones (which itself tells you their dedication to the game.), but because of how much they interact with the forum members and strive to make a great game that everyone can enjoy.

Your opinion is your opinion and it won't be heard until you say it in a way that is acceptable and respectable. Did you honestly think that you were going to be heard by the developers when the title of your thread starts with 'Is this a joke?'. How would you feel if you worked day and night every day of the week for the past year and someone does that to you?

If you want something and if you care enough then make an effort to be heard.

lol what are you all on Big Ant's payroll? Why are some of you so sensitive? It is just a criticism of mine, and not just mine. Telling people to go buy another game when they are criticizing something is really insecure.
