Ricky Ponting:Will be a massive threat for any team he faces this year.He can take apart bowling attacks single handedly! Anything short he will latch straight onto but also anything to full he will drill straight down the ground. Although a weakness of a good length on off stump and just outside, exploited by England in the Ashes, He is still one of the best players in the world. Watch out,could be Man Of the Tournament.

Kevin Pietersen:One of the biggest and maybe the biggest hitter in the world of cricket will be on show for England this World Cup.After a great tests series debut against the Aussies in the 2005 Ashes he has grown stronger and stronger! Anything short will go and even if you bowl off stump prepared to be hit for four through the leg side.Quite full amybe a weakness but Warne,Kaneria,Murali and any other spinner watch out as you could be hit into the stands a few times over the WC!

Shoiab Akhtar:The quickest bowler in the World today! A great yorker that will do the batsman all day and a great accuracy when he gets going. Although he may get bogged down if he gets hit over the park, he will always be in with a chance of a wicket.Him and brett lee will be great to watch and he may come away with the Most Wickets in the Tournament!

Makhaya Ntini:One of the worlds best bowlers today.A great accurate bowler that generates pace naturally.Is a great bowler to left handers and uses the crease well! Ntini could be this years suprise package and may bring glory back to South Africa.

Mohammad Yousuf:After a great series in England with severall double hundreds and hundreds he has become one of the best batsman in the world.His average has climed since changing to Islam as continued ever since. Pakistan have performed well in recent World Cups but cannot find a winning team. Maybe with Yousuf in this form they can pick up the trophy again!

Brian Lara:The man with the World Record test match score and a man with over 11 thousand test match runs and nearly 10 thousand ODI runs! Will be a massive threat to bowlers again this year! A great batsman with a great eye and determination. If anybody could take the young and ineperienced West Indies side to victory, he could. Can they win their 3rd trophy this time round?

Rahul Dravid:A fantastic batsman who is known as the wall. A great leader that is very much capable of lifting the trophy! The wall can defend but always will score runs freely unless you get him ouit early. he can take a game away from you and will build plaenty of partnerships! Watch out for a few good knocks from Rahul Dravid!

pakistan are a very good ODI side and i just thought they'd have a great chance!!

One problem is the teams like Burma,Ireland,Scotland aren't on the game!!!

So i'm either gonna have to make them or someone else will!!
so could be a while before we start but i will continue to post the WC build up

Look it up on www.cricinfo.com And scroll down the countries and pick a few players out of Bermuda.

It wouldn't be to hard to make them if you just pick 13 or 14 of them. There's some good value in the market to win the cup i might have a $10 punt on Beruda to win it for a return of 5 grand.
