Joyce smashed an impressive 111 from 99 balls

Porterfield and Joyce struck a brilliant unbeaten century and Dockrell took 4-50 as Ireland eased to 56-run win over PlanetCricket. Porterfield scored 104 from 92 balls ? with Joyce, his second impressive 111 coming off only 99 balls - out of the Ireland's 368 for six from 40 overs. Despite opener Gurupur scoring a quick knock of 77, PlanetCricket could only make 312 all out in reply, giving Ireland, who won the toss, their first victory of the ODI series. Ireland's platform was set by openers William Porterfield and Ed Joyce, who put on 184 for the second wicket. Joyce brought up his 50 in 35 deliveries with seven fours.

Joyce and Porter proceeded to put on 74 in 15 overs, both hitting Dipak for sixes over cover as the visitors reached 231 for one at the halfway stage. Porterfield went to 50 from 55 balls with five fours. The visitors took the batting powerplay at 303 for one after 40 overs and it yielded 40 runs, helped by Kevin O'Brien striking successive sixes off Prithvi.

With a chase of around seven an over, PlanetCricket opted to open with Do and Guru as a pinch-hitter, but early on it was Guru who was the main aggressor in an opening stand of 70 in just 10 overs. Guru lost Dongre and then vice captain Singh Singh, but twice struck RK Khan out of the ground, in an over that yielded 18, on his way to 50 from 38 balls.

Soon after Guru was caught at cover of Dockrell and then the RK's were dealing with boundaries from Dockrell and Mooney and Jonhston joined in with a six off Eastwood before RK Kumar was given lbw of Eastwood, ending a fourth-wicket stand of 58 in less than seven overs. The PlanetCricket middle order then imploded as they lost their way with few quick wickets. The damage was done by Dockrell, who celebrated a wicket maiden when he removed Dipak as PlanetCricket subsided from 279 for seven to 312 all out.

Our bowlers were smashed allround. I had an off day but that pretty much every other bowler had an off day too. :D

Yeah, I request our FTP manager (Swacker, it is you:p) to allot us a T20 series, so that we could give the youngsters a chance to play T20s:).

We will be playing against Zimbabwe for 4 T20s (away) :)

We can play Test if every one want. :/

Sounds good, maybe also a 2 test series against Zimbabwe to get that side of our squad sorted?

Seems like no team is free playing Tests :spy
