Windows Vista is annoying me

It does work but still only for those which have the firepower i guess. I did it on a persons pc who had Intel GMA 950 with old drivers, and he got the aero theme but not flip 3d and the animations, only the theme.

Ummm, heres what it said on the sheet my computer came with:

- Intel PIV 3.0GHz Dual Core Processor
- Intel Graphics Onboard
- 512MB DDRII RAM
- 300W PSU
Intel 945 Chipset Mainboard

Why? And are these anygood?

I'd say that you want to double that RAM to a gig before attempting to run Areo.

If you go start > control panel > system it will give you an index rating as to what your machine can run. If you click on the blue text next to rating it will update to give you your latest score. There is also an explanation as to what those number mean.

I got Vista about a month after it came out, when i got a new laptop, i love it and my computer has Vista Home Premium, i have to ask for the extra ?250 what is the difference between Home Premium and the top one. The Head of IT who works for my dads company has Vista(top one) and to be honest i cant see a lot of difference, then again i only spent 5 minutes on it.

Home Basic is probably enough for many users, Home Premium will be more than enough for most and Ultimate is only worth it if you get it on a new PC which is designed to take advantage of it all (so don't upgrade to Ultimate)

There are a few others like Dreamscene and BitLocker enhancements. Microsoft could also release a few in the future.
You can always upgrade to ultimate later if you want to by purchasing a new serial.

Yep, Service Pack 1 is expected late 2007/early 2008, near the release of Windows Server 2008. Which is due to Sever 2008 being based on Vista and many of the improvements are put back into Vista itself.
