I'm not changing my lynch as I'm really sure about MaD being Austin and a bad person.

Reason - Maybe Shan is a townie with night immunity. Mafia can't get him during the night so they're trying to put him to death during the day.

If we go by the blend in thing, ARay is the most suspicious candidate.

I am pretty sure half the guys are annoyed with my posting style and am not winning any Mr personality contest any sooner. I think so everyone will agree that I have made myself the centre of attraction for scrutiny and I do not think that is the ideal way to "blending in"

You say that but people are not going to be following conventions. Chez, could have easily decided early to be aggressive and use this defensive claim to try and prove innocence.

I could have, yes, but what would it gain me. It has given me a lot of critisism and scrutiny, which a mafia would want to avoid. It would also be obvious that I was not a townie the next day when the choice of target was wrong. There is no benefit to be gained other than one townie kill, if I were mafia, and mafia members can do that in much easier and better ways.

SR, on the other hand, has still stayed quiet despite this debate. He wants to stay hidden and safe and not be drawn out into an argument for fear of him slipping up and being found out. I have replied frequently whenever I am online and have been happy to debate.

I am still lynching SR for the reasons I have outlined previously. His roleclaim, though clever, could easily be fabricated and shouldn't be so good as to throw everyone off him.

It's subjective Marky. If I feel the discussion is leading towards a lynch, or that the person who has been lynched hasn't been given a chance to defend himself, I'll extend the deadline a bit. When I feel there can be no further developments, and it's the deadline/past the deadline, then time up.

Kinda like in football when the final whistle doesn't go until the play in progress is over.

1) I believe Spin
2) If spin is wrong, we can lynch him immediately the next day
3) I want to lynch user2010 the next day or after next day (if shan ends up townie- spin gets 1st preference)
4) I have stated mattfb is playing a more passive game. This is why I would request mattfb to post more. Brings him under my radar as well.

I dont understand why you have been going after User when no one else is doing the same. Its just like wasting your time and lynch cuz i dont think there is gonna be a massive turnaround and everyones gonna get User or something. Your vote should count, so pick either Shan or Spin.

And I repeat myself again, dont go for no lynch it is very anti-town move. Even if we fail and gett a townie we can see how certain members have reacted to it and that will give us an idea on whos what.

Hmmm. Looks like it's going to be The Spin at this rate. With only Shan to cast his vote, I'm guessing he's going to go The Spin as he was the guy who was against him in the first place as long as noone else changes their lynch.

Longlegs, I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that I'm mafia, but I clearly stated I'm voting him to pressure him up for answers. Mind you, he still hasn't claimed his role.
Now, it's just a matter of risking his word, and going for Shantanu, and then if he was townie, going for Spin.
In a way, we're risking 2 town deaths on his word, which, to me, has no conviction.

I've unlynched him because, if he's a townie himself, and done some stupid play like WC did the last game, I would be under suspicion.

Both Shan and Spin have 5 votes apiece. I'm now voting for Shan, and we'll get Spin if he turns out town.

I saw SR viewing the thread but not defending at all when we all started lynching him.
I expected SR to vote against the spin. But he has not. If he does then its 7 votes for spin as well.
Well, looks like it might be mattfb who will have to place the hammervote on SR on Spin. (if none of the other guys change their votes.)

Where on earth is Shantanu? The logical thing for him to do in this situation is to lynch off The Spin, if he wants to stay alive, and yet he's not even posting?

This more reconfirms my suspicion of noob, rather than noob mafia. If he was mafia he would be way more desperate to stay alive.

I understand, but what if The Spin is managing to bluff us all?

He could be trying to use a tactic where he plays super aggressive, and then defends himself by saying "Oh, a mafia player would never do that, so therefore I'm not mafia"...

It's not impossible...

I agree that Shantanu has been suspicious but he just looks like a noob to me...
