As we are going to follow strict deadlines, I do not have any concrete suspects at this point. Now that AliB has posted as well, Asprin and JR's case of Villain & Rudolph to have fake claims is just not connecting. Those 2 are my prime suspects at this point but nothing concrete yet.

End of Day 1:
The staff were all in shock. Working in the White House has been tumultuous enough since the Inauguration but now they were in lockdown. Noone could believe it and everyone, for the most part, remained quiet and hoped it would come to an end soon. The irony wasn't lost on the staff, that they were essentially workplace prisoners, working for the leader of supposedly the most free country in the world.
Some were lucky to have couches in their offices, some had to put their heads on their desk. All hoped tomorrow would bring some certainty.

One thing that did not occur to me when co-mod is the new post flair thing. I think it's easier for everyone if CK maintains that so I'll leave it for him to open the day at a time more convenient for him.

End of Night 1:
Everyone was on edge, some managed to get sleep, others didnt.

The Speaker of the House, who had hoped to ascend to the presidency hatched a plan. He ordered the chairman of the Intelligence Committee to fax through a subopena forcing his mark to testify before open session of the powerful congressional committee.
He roamed through the corridors of power, trying to find the post of the target. Little did he know his mark carried a letter granting him executive privilege. He was therefore saved.

Dejeccted, he returned to the office where we was camped out. He opened the door to find that he himself has been asked in for questioning. Before he had a chance to pack up his things. He was marched out of the WhiteHouse and back up to the Hill.

As always, the President watched on.
Did I see what I think I did? He thought to himself.

Sounds like the other mafia team/President? felt the same thing which Surendar and I felt that there is a team of Asprin and JR, also agree with Sur that Asp tried too hard to frame me.

About my defeatist attitude, well I never gave up. I only claimed because I knew things will go against me on Day 2 if alive and best I could do at that point was to save the town from a mislynch at least.

I'll post what I feel about the write-up soon, we were very lucky is all I can predict for now since one bulletproof was used.

I was talking about this post of yours, why did you not give a thought of Rudolph's claim, given the fact he claimed way before me.

@Simon That was not an overreaction, I claimed for the various other reasons I've mentioned including people not buying my strategy. And would like something more from you and the other guy @PresidentEvil, both have been under the radar for quite long now.

I may do that but Jack, being the experienced player he is, I'm sure wouldn't make it that obvious. The only reason I can assume he was backing me was because he either saw merit in my thoughts (less likely since he turned out to be mafia) or he was simply trying to get you lynched.

You said it yourself. He was the first one to do so and hence had a higher risk of being caught red handed.
