While I was SO inclined to some of the great options available, my next pick is too far down and I don't want to miss this guy.

Mr.360, possibly the greatest all format batsman of the modern era. Fastest century, ten 50+ scores including 4 ODI WC hundreds at an average over 63 and SR is 117. His ability to keep wickets brings more balance to the side.

My pick: :wkb: AB de Villiers

@mohsin7827 to pick next
And I just missed him! Was going to be my proxy pick

@icyman
That's turning into a decent XI...not as good as mine or second place cerealkiller but its getting there.

I think you missed a trick in picking some of the top guys but picked decent "second pick" style great ODI cricketers.

:aus: :ar: Andrew Symonds (2003 & 2007 ODI WC Champion)

I am picking Symonds purely and purely on the basis of 2003 ODI WC where he was a beast and played a significant role in winning Aus the cup. He can finish the innings while scoring quickly and can also provide helpful part-time overs in both spin as well as medium pace department. He improves the balance of the side a lot in my opinion.

2003 World Cup in South Africa (326 runs from five innings with a batting average of 163)
143* v Pakistan
59 v Namibia
0 v England
33* v Kenya
91* v Sri Lanka (Semi Final)
DNB v India (Final)

Massive surprise that he wasn't picked until now. 1100 CWC runs + 1016 WT20 runs +5 centuries+ astute leadership credentials,what else would you want ?

@Verified Enigma here you go!

I'm at the stage where I may be looking at picking some middle order bats. Jayawardene for me is an odd one, he has some solid numbers on the face of it but was pretty inconsistent but I did like his captaincy and grace. He would have been an option but my 4 and 5 still aren't taken...yet...
