think they will go for Johnson as more of a Starc like-for-like.

Bartlett apparently isn't among the reinforcements called up for the SL ODIs? Given his ODI bowling avg of 4 maybe I don't know why they wouldn't consider him

Hasn't Tayyab been excellent in the few ODI opportunities he has been given?

He has played 3 ODI innings: two against Zimbabwe, where he showed the ability to score quick cameos at the death, and then in the first match of this series he was really good, going above run a ball and taking it deep before he was removed by a stunning catch.

Add to that the fact no. 6 isn't his natural position and I think that shows immense adaptability and versatility on his part. He hasn't even failed once yet.

I mean yeah but it's a suboptimal strategy. Either bat him higher up the order or bring in Saud. Let Agha and Khushdil be the hitters.

Agha Salman is such an asset, makes important runs in all formats. Also Rizwan in a chase is always great to watch; he just makes it looks like he has the situation in control no matter how hard it looks
