For me it was unreal how Gill kept his cool when England where cruising at 280 for 3, any other captain would have been kicking the dirt or shaking his head. I think we are looking at one of the great sportsman here in Shubman Gill

Unreal. Snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Full marks to India for being this competitive. I honestly didn't think we would win even 1 match let alone the series.

If Siraj hadn't gotten out in Lords who knows it would have been 3-1 for India. But hats off to him for redeeming himself with that spell this morning.

This was a hardly fought series, 2-2 seems like a fair outcome. England bossed the chase in the 1st Test, India giving a fitting reply in the 2nd. 3rd Test could have gone either way. 4th Test was a fighting save and finally the 5th Test proved to be a thriller.

Looking to the Ashes, Australia, with a much superior bowling attack, will be confident seeing the outcome here. However, the recent West Indies series proves Australia is vulnerable in the batting department. So it's gonna be interesting to see what sort of pitches will Australia give England. Flat pitches will suit England while a sporting one would put both teams into trouble (although England might suffer more).

In a way he is right. It served as a practice for them. But Australia will be tougher to beat. A better bowling line up and a more settled batting unit.

One thing I'm unhappy about is India's celebrations. Yes, you snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, but you haven't won the series.

Don't celebrate as if this is a great win. It's not the World Cup/ WTC nor is it the series decider. Haven't seen such celebrations earlier. India were classier under MSD and a simple joyful handshake would have sufficed.

He was exactly spot on in what he said. It’s been a tough series fought tooth and nail over 25 days. Pressure has always been on and over these 5 tests they would have learnt a lot about where they are as a team on and off the field. How is that not a perfect warm-up/preparation for the ashes. But ofc it’s more than that, it was its own series one that is so vastly importance in its own right that for most of it we just had to ignore the lingering thought of the old enemy to concentrate on the battle in front of us.

We have not lost this away series with young squad & captain, so we can definitely say it.
