Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather a tough fought 100 in a shield game over a quick fire 100 in a 20/20. For me personally, I like blocking a few that deserve it especially early on.

Have you installed the patch? Works fine in my career.

Approx 6 weeks for patch 2. Patch 1 predominantly fixed some abnormal fielder behaviour issues amongst other things. Plenty of posts in other threads i just couldn't be bothered finding them all for you sorry.

Any advice for playing full balls on the stumps? I usually use R2 too block but get bowled nearly everytime. Is it better to be aggressive? Everytime I see yellow coming out of the bowlers hand I know I'm in trouble!

This is on purpose. You are 16 years old playing for a state team, I know it sucks right now but stick with it mate. Don't expect any high scores for a while, just be patient.

Decided to put the career mode on hold until the patch as will have to restart. Very upsetting(not) considering i am averaging under 3 with the bat!! Started a 5 match test series against England in the mean time. Such a shame we cant choose the grounds to play on. All 5 matches at Melbourne...
