The only thing that is frustrating me with batting in career mode is if the ball is short and you play to the leg side it will always hit the pull shot in the air (regardless of how well you time it) and the square leg / mid wicket fielder pulls out a diving catch and you are out. Hopefully this...

One of the interesting things that happend to me was Johnson coming into bowl and hitting the non strikers stumps with his hands and then the batter miss timed the ball and play it on. Has anyone else had this happen?
I must say playing the demo I'm finding it quite a suprise. I didn't expect much and thought it was going to be like BLIC07.
I am playing on normal and I am finding batting really hard which is good. I like the two batsmen "status" bars when the bowler begins to bowl one for confidence and...
The graphics are good. The stadiums look really good almost like a HD Broadcast. Don't think any cricket game has crisper graphics than the screenshots posted. Hopefully the gameplay will match the graphics.
The Classification Board and Classification Review Board
This seems to answer a few questions.
- Looks like it will be for "multiple platforms" as each application has a set cost. So if EA applies for a classification grade for PC only, then decide to apply for PS3 a seperate application...
Looks good, but would be nice to see the batsmen have the back and across movement rather than just stand there and play like Sinclair without moving his feet.
I think they compensate for the fast running by throwing the ball back too fast. They all seem to have great arms and get the ball back like it is shot out of a gun.
the most important aspect I reckon would be to have fielders saving the boundary, especially immediately after the 20 overs is up. It is not fun playing a 50 over match and having no fielders out. It ruins the game, even when they put the field out it is not saving boundaries. Last 10 overs...
I actually like the game. One of the things with cricket is that it is so complex that you need to include every bit of that complexity to get a true feel of cricket.
I decided to play the World Cup when I first got the game as I couldn't be bothered playing with the fake names Scott...
This may sound like a stupid question, but when I change the controls in the options, then save it to my profile, the old controls seem to come back when I play a game. Is there something I am doing wrong?
EDIT: dont worry got it sorted after I restarted the game.
nVIDIA Cards are better. I have a 7900GS Go in my laptop and it runs games @ 1920x1200 with an average FPS 100+. Desktops could be higher depending on the game.
I think one reason that I would want to see the difference in difficulty levels is to see if the speed of delivery is in fact changed or not, as if it is not then I will not be buying the game.
Interesting that Brett Lee's figures are 41 games, 738 balls 51 runs and 7 wickets. Is that a mistake for his career stats or is it tracking his statistics since you have been playing BLC07?
