Yet again Bangladesh started well and yet again they fell against Murali who hasn't really had a bad performance yet this year in tests.
Mendis was starting to look ordinary against Banga.
Neither Warnapura or Vandort got past 20 and Jayawardene and co were left to pick up the pieces,with half centuries from Sangakkara and Vaas.
A hundred from Jayawardene led the way and Paranavitana hadn't even given them a chance yet.
Rasel bowled well to pick up five wickets but none of the bowlers really shined.
Yet again another 50 opening parternership before spin took them apart,Murali only got 2/62 but Mendis made up for it with three wickets in four balls!
A magnificent performance by him.
Yet again Vandort and Warnapura fail and Sanga and Jaya put together a good parternership.
An easy win in the end!

Looks like you might need to change you opening combo if they are not working. Fortunately your middle order and bowlers were on form to counter their poor start. Easy win.

Fairly easy win though, Bangladesh probably scored more then you would have wanted in the first innings but a solid 1st innings for you put you in a nice position. Nice win there, good presentation kiu!

Reaction: Funny, when I clocked up 523 in the first innings I was fairly sure that M&M would rip the order and I would have an innings win but that was not to be. On a Spinning Pitch my Spinners were bloody useless in the first innings! Getting a grand total of 0/177 between them. Mendis living up to his hype with a 0/97
Murali at least doing great in his second innings, and the Pace bowlers and Batsmen were amazing. Sanga deserves a mention with 70 and 95.

Ah. I guess I should have explained that better. I'm not sure if you have played ICC before, but it Ranks international Batsmen and bowlers judging by how they have done recently. So Im just taking the top 10 from those lists. Not sure if it's needed, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Very strange first innings from both of the teams there... Entertaining though.
Your spin bowlers deserted you unfortunately and if they bowled better in the first innings then you could of got a bigger win. A victory is still a victory though. Loving this story, guys.

Not only did he take 4/21,but he bowled 10 overs too.
A very good econimy.
Vandort was a bit slow but he got out when the run rate needed to lift.
A miny collapse after Jayawardene but Dilshan and Paranavitana took me through all thanks to a stellar innings from Sangakkara in really bad batting conditions.

You say the openers were expensive but Malinga seemed to bowl well, only in Mendis' shadow though; brilliant play from him as normal. Vandort does what Cook normally does for me in ICC but at least Sangakkara took you home.

Malinga only bowled 5 overs for 30 runs.
When I brought him on at the end he bowled 3 overs,got 3 wickets(the tail.) and only let 2 runs through.
