17th Match, Group E: New Zealand v Pakistan at Bridgetown

I know the speedguns have been acting up but was Southee actually bowling 120-125? I thought it was just a mistake, but now Cricinfo is posting in their article that he was...

Apparently it was, I've read that he's been purposely dropping his pace in the latter overs to increase his accuracy at the death.

haha yea I saw that :laugh

I can't be bothered staying up to watch it. I'll have to check Cricinfo in the morning and pray for the best.

I feel Pakistan will win today however not too hot on playing 7+ bowlers and having virtually no batsmen after number 7. I mean really, we're so underconfident that we need 7 bowlers in a lineup???? :facepalm

the equation is simple... NZ's batsman versus Pakistani catchers.... whoever wins the day wins it for the team

Does anybody know which button turns off the bloody wicketkeeper????

Looks like the right McCullum has turned up!

Pakistan have had a proverbial kick up the bum in the field: nice catch, much better performance!

did he actually catch that? am I in an alternate reality?

Anyone else feel that the captaincy is just as bad as the other day but the fielding and the NZ batsmen have combined to make a mess of it?

Afridi takes a lot of gambles.. it didn't work last time.. it worked today

Good performance by Pakistani bowlers and fielders and usual shittiness from Bill Doctrove. He continues his habit of making stupid decisions against Pakistani. Styris was plumb LBW against Afridi when he was on not and a very obvious caught behind was not given by Mr Doctrove

Please dont screw this now, :upray

BKB1991 added 14 Minutes and 46 Seconds later...

Unbelievable :facepalm
