1st Test: England v Australia at Nottingham Jul 10-14, 2013

Failing it pouring down, I'm not sure how they could bat the day out and not get 105 runs.

True say, but trying to get those runs = more wickets maybe ?

But I'm loving Agar's cheeky grin, he's just going out there to play cos he loves it. A refreshing addition to a rather stale Aussie side.

This has been a gutsy effort by Haddin! Had Siddle and Starc been around for a while, this really could have entered Edgbaston 2005 territory. In any case, the Aussies are less than 50 away from the target which is roughly what England scored after the Broad non-dismissal.

Pattinson please dont get out.Finn has helped us very well in his last over :thumbs

I`m supporting Australia this series and atm I cannot watch. Its really tense right now. The ghosts of Edgbaston 2005 have warmed up to haunt again or will they be exorcised! What a cracker! Test cricket, where have you been!

Be a bit of a robbery if they win this, with their last stand scoring about half their runs over two innings.

England aren't making it easy for themselves, unable to finish the aussie tail off for the second innings in a row, and arguably England have tailed off in each of the four innings :

England 1st inns - 178/4 to 215 all out = six wickets for 37 runs
Australia 1st inns - 117/9 to 280 all out = 163 for the 10th wicket
England 2nd inns - 356/6 to 375 all out = four wickets for 19 runs
Australia 2nd inns - 211/9 to 282/9 and counting = 71 runs unbroken partnership

Of course England will probably now knock over the last wicket, but it's making England think about it, field settings, who bowls, etc.
