That yellow is a terrible colour to read. :p

Tait in for Clark isn't a good idea in my opinion but we'll see how he does. Collingwood in for Broad means the tail has basically been eliminated and we're going in with alot of people that can bowl still. England to win.

Phil Hughes and Simon Katich walking out Katich played well in the first test but Hughes fail but you have to be a bit aware it was his first Ashes and he is only 19.

Katich goes early for 11 to Anderson caught in the slips by Collingwood bad start for Australia out comes Ricky Ponting who failed in the first test.

After 20 overs
Hughes 23*
Ponting 23*

Panesar 0-3
Swann 0-4

Ponting goes for 32 well the game is pretty reaslistic because Ponting got bowled by Swann and he play's it on the front foot too.Out comes Clarke.at lunch Aussies are 2 for 97 with hughes 42* and Clarke 11* lets see if Hughes can go on to make 50.:happy :happy.

50 for Hughes well played brings his 50 up with a 4

Australia
Hughes 56*
Ponting 32

Swann 1-20
Anderson 1-34

All over for Pup he gets bowled he goes for 13 Australia really need to follow in Hughes footsteps this innings and make runs Aussies are now 115 for 3. Out come Hussey. There goes Hussey trapped in front it was a full delivery and he tried to play it on the back foot and pays costly Aussies now 151 for 4. North needs to make runs for Aussies to make a defendable total.

Hughes first test century and what a place to do it in the Ashes what a day for this young kid from Macksville.

Australia
Hughes 100*
Ponting 32

Flintoff 1-36

at tea on day 1 Hughes is 109* North 23* Hughes will be eyeing 150 North will be eyeing 50-100 lets see how they go. they are 204 for 4. 50 for North well played thats what Australia really need.

Australia
Hughes 134*
North 50*

Swann 1-46
Panesar 1-51

150 for Phillip Hughes what a gun he didn't go so well in the first game he really failed now he is showing he is worth keeping in the squad 200 is the next milestone for him. Australia 302 for 4.

End of Day 1
Phil Hughes 164*
North 81*
Australia are 325 for 4 we had a chance to talk to the Australian captain after the day's play Atherton "how did you think the team batted today" "Well i was blown off my chair by Phil Hughes and North batted well both of them putting us in a good state in the game so we are all hoping that Hughesy can make 200".
