I feel the Australians just have their noses ahead at the close of the first day. Excellent batting from Swacker tbh, he really did bludgeon us to all parts of the WACA, as he scored over 75% of his runs in boundaries.

England ended the second day of the third PlanetCricket Ashes Test on 207 for 5 in Perth.
Australia were swept away by a combination of farhans (5-110) and Near (4-60), going from 261-5 to 322 all out.
The tourists got off to a good start with a partnernship of 108 between openers Skater and Manly, but the Australian bowlers rallied to reduce England to 177-5.
The first wicket of the third day will be crucial with the last recognised batsman already at the crease.

Australia closed the fourth day of the third PlanetCricket Ashes Test in Perth on 181-3, a lead of 162 runs.
England began the day on 207-5 and managed to make 341 thanks to a brilliant hundred from Bevab before Umair2000 (4-90) cleaned up.
Australia then enjoyed a partnership of 111 between Simon Katich and timchrist984 before England picked up late wickets to leave the Australians on 181-3.
The game is finely poised with all three results still possible going into the final day.

England have won the third PlanetCricket Ashes Test after a thrilling final day in Perth.
Starting the fifth day on 181-3, Australia's attempt to score quickly to set an imposing target to defend was scuppered by regular losses of wickets. The home side went from 205-5 to 266 all out. Spinner Dipak took 5-90 and Near 4-65.
Set 248 to win with a session and a half to go, England went on the attack from the start, opener Manly making 34 off just 17 balls, but their quick scoring came with risks as wickets tumbled, as the tourists slumped to 52-3.
It was a partnership of 129 between Pakistani Army (57) and Bevab (90) that got England on course for an unlikely victory. When Bevab was run out for a stunning 90 that earned him the man of the match award, however, England's tail folded and it was left to the last pairing Near and farhans to score the final runs and give England a 2-0 lead in the series with two matches to play.
Australia can still retain the PlanetCricket Ashes by winning in Melbourne and Sydney, but they will be disappointed to have lost another Test match when it looked like they could win.

England dominate first day in Melbourne
Australia v England, 4th PlanetCricket Ashes Test, Melbourne, Day 1
England enjoyed a storming day under the Melbourne sun to leave Australia's hopes of retaining the Ashes on the ropes.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Australia captain Hooper looked on in shock as his batsmen folded like a pack of cards. Only hedger_14 (68) offered any resistance in the top order as the home side were bowled out for a measly 232.
Their total would have been much lower but for some tail end hitting from Ryan Harris (40) and mohsinhbk (27*). Brilliant bowling from spinner Dipak (4-81) and Near (3-66) gave England a real boost.
Coming into bat just after the tea interval England got off to a good start, losing Manly for 26 four overs from the end but Skater and Pakistani Army comfortably reached the end of the day on 77-1.

A few individual honours:
Bevab was the leading run scorer in the PlanetCricket Ashes, building an astonishing 654 runs from 5 Tests. Australia's highest scorer was the 582 made by swacker.
There were an incredible 31 wickets taken in the series by England opening bowler farhans, narrowly ahead of Dipak, who took 30. Australia's leading wicket taker was Umair2000 with 19 scalps.
The highest partnership in the series was the 320 that set England on course for victory in the 4th Test in Melbourne. Bevab and Skater were the batsmen. Australia's biggest partnership was the 4th wicket stand between Umair2000 and swacker, sharing 207 runs.
